Creating a Longitudinal study with daily 2-way SMS texting? | XM Community

Hi!

I am working on creating a longitudinal study via 2-way sms. I want to send the same survey everyday to my participants for 6 months, and track their response. The issues I am running into right now are automating this survey to send everyday at the same time. It looks like i have to do it everyday, and thats a bit tedious. Any one know how to this easier?

The second thing that i need is to identify my participants, not necessarily by first/last name, but some way to link participants. I think i kind of figured this out. by using embedded data. and piping it out. But if your are able to help with this, much appreciated it!
If you use "Actions" (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/actions-module/setting-up-actions/) Add an action to the survey that after the survey is filled out wait a day and send. Note when using delay it can get weird as it would be: wait X time and then send the survey. So if you said wait one day and then send at 5pm and they were filling out the survey at 6pm it would wait until 6pm the following day and then send at 5pm which would be the day after.

Yes you can embed contact data into the survey to identify them.
OK not sure what I was thinking...even easier would be setting up an automation: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/iq-directory/automations/distribution-automation/

Set up a distribution automation to send an invite at the same time every day as an SMS invite.

Think that should get you what you want!
