fetch previous data for Re contact survey

Hi,
I have 2 version of my survey and 1st one wave some embded varibales assignment which I need to use in 2nd wave that is recontact survey. How can I fetch those values to 2nd survey based on RID's? can anyone help me on this?

      If you have done email distribution of the survey 1 then you update the contact list with those embedded data and use this updated contact list for ditribution of second survey.
