Hi! I have a question regarding the file upload feature of Qualtrics. I am conducting a study where I am having participants take pictures of themselves and fill out surveys regarding the experience. As a manipulation check, I need to have the participants upload or "think" they are uploading the picture to the survey. Due to IRB issues, I cannot actually save the pictures of my participants. Is there anyway to have participants upload their files but not save the data (i.e. have them upload the file but this data does not get recorded or saved)? In this way, I am not collecting pictures of my participants but they think that I am which helps with the validity of the study.
