Has anyone had experience with "halt and delete distribution" mid survey launch?

Looking for what this button does exactly and if there is a chance it "breaks" the survey link in the invitation. We unfortunately had to halt/pause a distribution and then had a flood of emails come through that they received an error message when clicking on the survey link. Thanks in advance!

Per Qualtrics's documentation: This option only appears if the email distribution has been sent, and is still in the process of sending. This gives you the opportunity to delete the distribution before it goes out. You only have as long as it takes the email to send before this option disappears.

So it looks like you have a couple on mins to "stop the presses" incase you see a glaring error. The errors may have come if you clicked Delete Distribution. This deletes the links that haven’t been clicked yet
