How to kick-out participants after 3 attempts at answering the control questions

Hi There,
I have a series of control questions that are open-ended. The idea is that participants should be kicked out after failing to provide the correct answer more than 3 times but so far my attempts of programming the cut-off have failed. I know i need to branch it out, but I do not seem able to program the counter for the failed attempt. I start by defining an embedded variable which should be increases with each failed answer but it is not working. I attached a picture of my attempt at branching for one of the questions but ideally it should be for all 3. I have been stuck there for a while. Thank you!
