A survey we're conducting requires us to ask for contact information, but we don't want this information linked to the rest of the survey. Obviously we can separate the contact information once downloaded, but would prefer it if the contact information was stored completely separately within Qualtrics. Is this possible?

Is it possible to store different questions from one questionnaire into separate files
This question comes up so often that Qualtrics should implement some solution for it. The short answer is that there is straight forward way to do it.
However, there are some workarounds if you are still in the data collection phase.
