I created a line chart with week of survey end date as the x-axis and percent answering a multi-select as y-axis. It’s charting the percentage of choices instead of percentage of respondents and there’s no option to choose the type of percentage when the multi-select question is the field. Is there a way to display percent of respondents instead of choice over time? (Multi-select is broken down by survey date week)
I should have clarified, I can choose percent of respondents but then it the percent of respondents across the entire time frame instead of percentages for each week.
Hi jli5184 ,
I see what you mean. I just tried to create a trend series in Results with a line chart, bar graphs, and tables, and none of them will calculate percentages based on the number of respondents; everything is based on the number of choices. I don't know why Qualtrics would program the Results this way, so I would report this to Support as an issue to fix. Seems like either a programming issue or an oversight because I can't see why they wouldn't want to provide the ability to calculate percentages by the number of respondents for this type of question.
MatthewM Thanks! Will do
Hi jli5184 , just reading through this thread as i had a similar query, did you get anywhere with this and reporting to Qualtrics?
Thanks for your help,
Katie_A_1 I never did because I wasn't sure who/where to raise this request. Looking now, I see a Product Idea section so just raised here in this ticket https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/12750. Not sure if there's other ways to submit requests/ideas.
