Linking surveys afterwards

Dear,
We started already a survey and we are now finishing the follow-up survey. Originally I thought to link the answers of surveys by hand as I did before but I understand that you can already link the surveys in Qualtrics. What is the best possible way for my case, because the first survey is already started. Is it possible to create an Login ID afterwards / manually for the participants who already filled in the survey?

    Hi LeontienJansen ,
    Assuming you are distributing this survey by email or personalized links, I believe you could use a Query String to pass the ResponseID or some other unique identifier from your first survey into the follow-up. It wouldn't matter that your first survey is already in progress, as long as you can associate the ResponseID or unique identifier with each contact in the second survey.
