One of my respondents who uses a Mac can't select any of the answer choices in my survey - he said the buttons don't work. They are using Chrome. I asked them to try another browse, but are there common issues related to Mac users?

That's often an assumption among a certain segment of Mac users, but no, there should not be any problems with a survey related to use of that operating system. Good suggestion to try a different browser; it's more likely to be related to that.
