What would some thoughts be on altering the direction of the NPS question from colleagues to clients

e.g. "How likely would you recommend "Company X" to a colleague or friend?" to "How likely would you recommend "Company X" to a client or friend?" This question is directed at our Partners, who are other businesses that initiate the relationship between our customers and our company.
