auto-send a custom email after someone completes the survey

Hi all,
My survey link will be posted on the website, so all staff from the organization will be able to access the survey link. In this case, is there a way to auto-send a custom email to someone after he/she completes the survey immediately?
The "Send a Thank You Email" option seems to work ONLY if I distribute the survey thru email invitation or a contact list. In my case, the survey link will be posted on the website for everyone.
Please help. Thank you in advance.

In order to send an email, you would need to first capture the email id of the customer which can be stored in a question or embedded data field.

The next step here would be to create a workflow where based on a complete response event, an email would be triggered. The "from"email address here is where you will be using the question field or ED field in order to automate this process.
