Merging contacts - statistics info

Hello
I need a little help with regards to Directory setting > Identity Resolution.
Let say I want to merge existing contacts based on contact info. Once the merging is completed, let say I need to look for a specific contact on directory contacts, ex: Mr X, will I still have all information about ‘Lists’ and ‘Statistics’.. I mean all the lists from which Mr X was included, the total invites received, the total responses etc..?

Hello ​@Sonam,

Yes, when you merge existing contacts in XM Directory, the consolidated contact will retain all the information about the lists and statistics. This means that after merging, you will still be able to see all the lists that the contact was included in, the total invites received & the total responses. But note that when existing contacts are merged fields of the contacts like Email, External data reference, First name, Last name, Phone & embedded fields will keep the newest value for the consolidated contac.
