Hope you're doing well!
Quick Qualtrics question. We're seeing students occasionally enter the wrong Student ID or class level on our meal plan change survey, which creates extra work when we reconcile responses with RMS.
Ideally, I'd love for the process to work like this:

Student logs into Qualtrics using Organization SSO.
Qualtrics automatically recognizes or validates the student's information.
Students can only proceed if the Student ID and class level match university records.
If something doesn't match, they receive an error message before submitting.

Do you know if Qualtrics can use SSO information to validate or auto-populate student information, or if there is another feature that would help prevent these errors?
I'm also doing some research on the Qualtrics Community and other resources to see what's possible, but I wanted to check with you as well.
Thanks for any insight!
Frederick

Validate using SSO can only pull in what’s available on the SSO, which probably limited. You can you SSO to associate respondent with a panel/list in your Directory. This directory you could add the embedded data you need to verify or pull into the survey.

We had a similar set of requirements @fdbuie1212campbell.edu . We reached out to our SSO team and asked for additional fields to be passed with the SSO. There are some steps in the Qualtrics SSO to read those a new fields, but it served all our needs!

If you can confirm you can get the fields added to the SSO, then reach back out for help getting them as fields into Qualtrics and I can help. It actually sounds like the things you need are likely part of the student record already so it may be extremely easy for them to be added. I had a similar need and it literally took a few minutes for the SSO team to add the fields. It is not difficult for them.
