When configuring the "Update XM Directory Contacts" task in the survey workflow, ensure that you select a unique data field, such as Customer ID, in the source field. This unique identifier should be mapped to the XM Directory field 'External Data reference'. This ensures that each customer is uniquely identified during the update process.
+2This has to be the primary value against which you want to refernece the entire contact. In case it is email, you can map the email against the email address and keep the ExtDataRef mapping empty
