Thanks but this changes the main background colour below the logo, not the colour either side of my logo as above.

Add this code to the CSS.

#FF0000 is red. You can change your favoured colour.

    max-width: 100%;

    height: auto !important;

    border: 5px solid #FF0000; 

}
