Hello all, I have a side by side question with 9 columns of different question types. I am trying to set a validation so that when a user fill out any column of a row, they have to fill out all columns of that row (i.e. answers in a row must be complete). I know I can do this with custom validation, but I have 100 rows and it would take quite a while. I was wondering if there is another way to go about this, perhaps with JS? Thank you!

Hi skwok -- my initial reaction is that it's a very complicated matrix question, both from your point of view as a designer and from the UX standpoint.
Would there be a way to break up this matrix? For example:
"First, we'd like to ask you a couple of questions about your ten contacts... next, we'd like you to tell us this about those ten contacts, etc."
That would at least decomplicate the validation for each component. I can't speak for the Javascript approach but will upvote this question so someone with more JS experience than I have can answer... I hope that helps!
