I would like do store answers from textbox in an embedded data using javascript.
how do i get this done?
is document.getElementById useful?

Hi there, you should be able to accomplish this without JavaScript by using the Survey Flow. Create an Embedded Data field after the Block that contains the Text Entry question and then set its value using Piped Text. Your configured Survey Flow might look something like the below:
