Good afternoon community! I have been approved to move forward with sending out my survey. Just curious…

This is a NON- anonymous survey to 60 managers.

I am choosing the “generate a trackable link for each contact”

I thought I would be able to send from my work email but it looks like Qualtrics wants me to send from theirs and then each of the 60 managers will get a different link that I could run a report on after, is this the correct process? I don’t want to do this wrong, thanks so much!

@jduncan ,

When you choose to “generate a trackable link for each contact,” you are creating Individual Links. Each manager will receive a unique, trackable link that can only be used once. This allows you to see exactly who has responded and track their progress. After responses come in, you can run reports that include each manager’s information (name, email, etc.) alongside their survey data.

About sending emails:
By default, Qualtrics sends these invitations from its own mailer system, using a standard Qualtrics email address or a custom domain set up by your organization. Depending on your organization's Qualtrics setup, you may be able to change the "From" or "Reply-to" address to your work email, but the actual sending is handled by Qualtrics for tracking and deliverability reasons.

Summary of the process:

  1. Upload your contact list of 60 managers.
  2. Compose your email invitation in Qualtrics.
  3. Qualtrics sends each manager their unique link.
  4. You can track who has responded and run reports on the results.
