Automating paper based survey intake into Qualtrics

Hi Community,

I am based in Brisbane, Australia. The organisation I work for is about to commence a large survey, where 50%+ of responses are expected to come back via a paper based channel and the rest will be digital. The survey is ~60 questions long and the survey demographic are 75-85 year olds who prefer the paper channel. The current paper-based survey intake solution is postal -> manual data entry.

I am looking for a smart way to automate and streamline the intake of paper-based survey responses. I have read that ICR / OCR technology may help digitise paperbased survey responses ready to integrate with Qualtrics.

Are there any Australian based customers who have had success with any vendors for this or a similar use case?

Cheers,

Dee

@D1234567 , I'm based in Sydney. We've developed a solution that addresses this type of use case.

Our platform first converts the paper questionnaire into a survey template. It then uses AI Vision to extract responses from completed paper forms and automatically generates a CSV containing individual response records, which can be imported into Qualtrics.

This approach significantly reduces manual data entry while improving speed and accuracy. If you're interested, I'd be happy to share more details or arrange a quick demo.
