How is your district managing COVID-19 and returning to school?

Lisa_Gilchrist and LaurenC you both mentioned using Qualtrics for your COVID response and reopening plans. What types of projects have you been working on since March?

SeanS We have used Qualtrics surveys to gather feedback from families about their distance learning experience in the spring. Most recently, we used surveys to gauge families' level of comfort in returning to on-campus instruction this fall and allow them to provide feedback. Similarly, we used EE surveys to gather staff feedback and level of comfort to returning to campus in the fall. Finally, we created a technology check out form for families to digitally sign when they checked out a student device this spring. We will probably continue to use this form moving forward!

We sent out a survey to every parent in the district (using XM directory to prompt them with their student names;included building and grade level in the embedded data) to choose virtual or in-person learning for each of their students. We also asked about bus ridership. We are using the results of the survey to plan in-person and virtual teachers for the school year. We created a dashboard to summarize the data and allow filters by building and grade level.
