I would like to export the survey metadata including the variable names, variable labels, response options, value labels, etc. which could be provided by getting the codebook maybe?
I have no idea.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried data export (from data and analysis tab) and survey export (from survey-->tools-->Export to word)?
