I am trying to show respondents the sum of their answers to a previous question, using Qualtrics' built in math operators.
And, yes, there are spaces between everything
The test code just showing the previous responses works fine, but summing them yields {Invalid Expression}
Any help greatly appreciated!

+18Since you are trying to add open text field values, make sure the field has content validation set as 'numerical value'.
