Hello,
I'm designing a survey that will require participants to view one of 4 versions of a stimulus webpage, then return to the survey to answer questions about what they saw. What is the smartest way to set that up? If I place a hyperlink in the survey that opens the website within the survey page, do you think respondents will understand to click it closed and proceed with the questions after they view it? Or do you think I need to provide instructions spelling this out? Or is there a way to automatically return them to the survey after they interact with the linked website, or to put the website right in the survey (and have it still be clickable)? Thanks.

You can either use a hyperlink and add a JS to check if the respondent either clicked or not. Or you can either add a link on the end of survey option.
But the best would be to show on the page itself via hyperlink and ask the respondent to close down or view the page and answer the questions.
