Sending approval notification

Hello,I have a survey that has two workflows requesting approval through a retake URL.  One for time off and one for funding.  I would like to create a third workflow that will send an email to the requestor when both of the retakes have been completed and that notifies them of the outcome.  I feel like this is doable, but not sure how… any help would be greatly appreciated.
