Displaying a question based on date

Hello,
I'd like to setup a few questions that would only display based on a specific date range. I have a survey that is being used to enroll students in a specific class. I would like to set this up so that a question displays within a certain range and could possibly overlap with the second question based on that question's date range.
I've setup an embedded data field to capture the current date and it is working, but when I try to set display logic based on greater than or equal to the date range I want its not working. I have a feeling it has something to do with the format I'm putting the display logic in.
If someone could take a look and give me some suggestions on this, that would be great. below is my embedded data field for the CurrentDate as well as the display logic for the questions.
