Using display logic in a side-by-side dropdown

At the beginning of my survey, I ask respondents to select which tools they use from a long list (15 options). Later, I want only the selected options to populate into a dropdown which lives in a side-by-side (which has 3 columns total). Is there any easy way to do this?
