I’m definitely a sweets person all year round, but in the fall I especially like anything with lots of cinnamon. If I had to choose a favorite I think I’d go with snickerdoodle cookies. They are easy to make and delicious!

Snickerdoodle

That is so pretty to look at and delicious, I bet.

That does look amazing, I haven’t seen this before!

I am going to hijack the question a bit. My favorite sweet treat has less to do with the treat itself, but with the company making and eating together. Some of my favorite memories is growing up making Christmas coffee cakes together and delivering them to neighbors. Now that I have a daughter, we have continued the tradition!

Indian Sweet and Savory

Fafda and jalebi are my forever favourites, and this plate has it all: crisp, flaky fafda, syrupy jalebi, tangy kadhi, and fresh shredded salads on the side.

The savoury crunch of the fafda, the sweet, juicy jalebi, and the comforting kadhi make a perfect balance. Add a few fried green chillies for heat, and you have the ultimate lazy Sunday breakfast.

One of my favourite snacks are the chicken hearts with farora (cassava flour) from a place called Tempero. They’re pure bliss with a cold beer.

thanks for introducing me to Chicken hearts @bench , a definite first for me.

my current favourite is probably Dubai chocolate; a thick chocolate with a unique filling of bright green pistachio-tahini cream and crunchy, shredded kataifi (phyllo pastry), inspired by the Middle Eastern dessert knafeh. Conscious it's a fad but whether it's a cake, a chocolate bar, bon-bon or ice cream they've all be a pleasant surpise!
