Hover function over hot spot boxes in survey

Hi There,
I am looking to run a survey where I use the hot spot question type where respondents can select certain responses based on the area of an image.
Is there a way I can implement a hover function so that a description shows when respondents hover their mouse over a box (e.g. definition of content in the box).
If anyone has done this before would be great to get input on how was achieved.
