Text entry box next to the answer option like "Any other, please specify ________"

Hello Everyone,
1) I wanted the text entry box next to the answer options like "Any other, please specify ________" (imagine the dotted line as the box)
2) Also, where is the custom code option for answer options? (I am new to Qualtrics)
3) Can we show the box only when the respondent selects the option?

Hi Leon24 ,
You can accomplish #1 and #2 with built-in functionality; see the attached screen shot.
I don't know of a way to support #3 without out of the box features but perhaps a Javascript expert in the Community could address that.

MatthewM Thank you for the help. Is there a way I can position the entry box to the side of the response item and not below?

I'm not sure off the top of my head. Using a static theme or different template under Look & Feel might do that, but that might induce more drawbacks into the survey functionality for respondents. Maybe a Javascript expert has a solution out there?
