Website intercept javascript variables as source to be sent to survey response

Hello,
We have developed a Website App feedback/Intercept on a client Website. We want to retrieve the survey response and include the javascript variables passed in the background.
For example: On Website, they have country code variable.
On my survey: I have an embedded data called countryCode and I want to source this data from the javascript variable.
Can I modify the autogenerated script from Qualtrics to include this information to be passed? I tried to add the script below but it did not work. The website is using GTM btw. Please advise. Thanks.
