I’ve created an Employee Experience (EX) survey for one of the companies I work with. The survey provides participants with the option to access it via an anonymous link and authenticate themselves using SSO or their unique identifier.
However, we’re encountering a challenge:
Many of the staff members will be using shared devices (e.g., tablets or computers) to take the survey. If someone starts the survey, leaves it incomplete, and closes the tab, the device remains authenticated to their session. This creates a problem, as the next person using the same device would inadvertently access the previous person’s session.
What we want is a way for users to log out of the survey session so the next participant can authenticate and start their own session securely.
Has anyone tackled a similar situation? Is there a way to automatically log out users after a certain action or implement a manual logout option for the survey? Any best practices or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
