Hello All,

I am looking for a solution where I can display the completion status of the survey participants on dashboard.

For eg: John Doe Completed

Is there any where we can display completion status in EX dashboard?

Thank you for your help.

You can display completed and uncompleted by using a Response Rate Table widget, where the employee name is added as the field.  The trick to making it work would be to set the confidentiality to 0 minimum responses to display data points.  Each person’s status would be displayed as either 1 or a dash for responded or not responded, respectively.  The response rate bar would either be blue and 100% if responded or gray with no text if not.  So, it would work but be clunky.

Another approach, if you wanted completed vs not clearly displayed, would be to set up an imported data project where each person was included with a ‘status’ field initially set to “incomplete”.  Then, on a regular basis, export the completion status from the main survey project, and update each person’s status to “complete”.  You could use the Survey Response workflow task to partially automate the updating of the response to “complete”.

Create an embedded data at end of the survey. this will get updated if the respondent completes the survey. Now use this embedded data to display in dashboard widget.

You’d also want to have that page in a dashboard with confidentiality set to 0 or 1 minimum responses to display data points, so that the individual level data shows up.

@jbk @Matt_Griffin : Thank you both for your response.

I have added embedded data and displayed the completion status using table widget.

Is there any way to view the incomplete response status?

Thank you!

Hi ,

For us , when we export the participant list from the Engagement Survey, we have this column, with Completed . So , it this enough, that you just see who completed the survey, or you need this in a widget as well?

@jbk : It’s a running project. If we can display for closed, even that will work for me

@Livia B : Yes, I wanted to display in one of the widgets.

Then yes, as mentioned upper, you can import this data from Part List as metadata for each participant, and then you can introduce it in any widget.

Thank you @Matt_Griffin and @Livia B : I think I will go with the first option provided by Matt.

This is helpful. Thank you guys.
