Miami-Dade County exemplifies how local government can operationalize its duty to improve resident experience through standardized processes that ensure the services government provides reflect its expressed value. Miami-Dade's closed-loop follow-up processes for its 311 program are a great example of this approach (see attached PDF).
Even in the face of COVID-19, with constrained resources and an anxious population nationwide, Miami-Dade has continued designing initiatives to facilitate resident experience. They've launched a centralized COVID-19 website, organize regular virtual Town Halls as well as listen and communicate to their multicultural public through diverse communication channels.
