Thank you very much for your response and for offering your help. I’m currently working on my first implementation of Course Evaluations and have encountered a few issues.
The LMS being used is Blackboard, so we’re setting up an integration through LTI 1.3. However, we are also exploring the older LTI 1.1 version to have the evaluation portal embedded within the Blackboard system tool. When attempting the connection, we get the following message (I’m attaching a screenshot for reference).
As a backup plan, we’re considering distributing the evaluations by email. However, due to security policies, it’s required to add SSO to each survey.
Do you know how to link the studentID with the External Data Reference so that the connection between the survey and the Course Evaluation works properly?

+32We ran into this during implementation of course evals and they assigned a specialist that watched our traffic to see what the problem was. It took them a day or two, but they got it resolved. Course evals are a special product and can take a little longer for support to resolve.
If I follow your question for SSO, once configured by your IT group in the admin portal it should give you an option to select it under authentication type when setting up survey flow, then if you need any additional student data, you can associate with whatever you have imported into XM directory. The screenshot below is from a form we use with SSO enabled. CID is our AD name for studentID. If this completely misses your question, let me know and I’ll try again.
