I like using child codes in Text IQ to organize particular codes under a main theme (adult code). However, the logic in Qualtrics treats the child codes as an “and/both” statement, so that the adult code name must be present in the text of the child code text. Example: adult code is “Ocean,” child code is “Pacific.” With Qualtrics, only text that includes both “Ocean” and “Pacific” will appear. Is there a way to see all comments with the word “Pacific” regardless if “Ocean” is present in the text AND have “Pacific” as a child code under “Ocean”?
