Hello! My name is Joshua Terchek and I am the Executive Director of Research and Development at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. I have been at the district about 2 years, with my time spent before that in Higher-Ed and the Non-profit space.
At CMSD, we have used Qualtrics for a range of activities, including pulse surveys during the pandemic and more intensively, as the registration tool for our Summer Learning Experience. I am interested in learning more from other schools on how to best leverage Qualtrics, especially larger implementation.

My name is Brian Sersion and I manage the Office of Research and Evaluation for Cincinnati Public Schools. I use XM mainly for district surveys, and to administer the research proposal review process, which is partially automated through embedded triggers. I also support the research needs of other departments who use the on-line platform for other purposes.

Hello! I am Coney DeHart, a brand new Qualtrics user from Southeast Houston, TX. My job title is Data Analyst for Clear Creek ISD. We are currently using Qualtrics for district surveys, but we are hoping to use it for program evaluations and as somewhat of a data warehouse to analyze information from multiple sources.

Hi, I am Melanie Long, and I work in Customer Experience at CDW - and focus specifically on the education segment. I was previously at Amplified IT, which was acquired by CDW last year. I'm passionate about the positive impact that education technology can have on the lives of teachers and students and spent several years in education myself before making the move to Edtech.
I use Qualtrics to measure how our customers feel about the services, products, and people that they interact with, and use that data to affect change within the organization. I look forward to learning from you all here!

Hi All, I am Abhishek Mishra, and I lead the K-12 and Higher Ed team Qualtrics implementation Team at Merkle (formerly known as Ugam Solutions). I have been working with K-12 and Higher Ed institutions over the past 3.5 years, helping them implement Qualtrics on their campuses across departments. Howdy y'all! My name is Caitlin, and I am a Data Fellow for a K-12 district in Texas. The data fellow program is grant funded by the state in order to support districts in utilizing data to inform actions in an effort to increase scholar success.
I have been in education for 13 years, as a teacher, instructional coach, and district staff. I am loving getting to know Qualtrics to help our district better understand their data. I am big on dashboards, though we also use Qualtrics for observation trackers and surveys as well. Thanks for having me here in this space!

I work with data (Qualtrics, data warehouse, data reporting) while also supporting those data systems with our technology department.  We have been working with Qualtrics for 2 school years now and continue to find new uses all of the time!

Hey there!  My name is Jennifer Riedemann and I serve as the District Data Specialist for Ankeny Schools, a growing suburban district just north of the Des Moines metro in central Iowa.  I’ve been using Qualtrics for about 3 years.  When I stepped into my role, the district had really only been using it as a basic survey tool, so I’ve been excited to branch into other use cases, especially when it comes to forms with workflows.  Since we currently do most of our data visualization in Tableau, I’m looking to expand our use of dashboards in Qualtrics, especially when it comes to managing text responses (which Tableau does not handle quite as well).

Hello K-12 Group. New to Qualtrics this year. I’m a 22 year veteran teacher/ed tech integration specialist at Corona-Norco Unified School District. 53 schools, 52k students, 5k staff. Currently using Quatrics for our CTE Program. Added XM directory and hope over time to expand the usage of Qualtrics. Especially after attending Q4 earlier this year. 

Hi All! My name is Jaime and I am the Director of Data for UP Education Network in Massachusetts. We manage three K-8 public charter schools in Boston. My organization has been using Qualtrics to administer staff surveys for 6 years. This year we started using Qualtrics with students and families as well. I taught high school math for 11 years before studying data analytics.

Hi Everyone! I’m Stephen O’Toole - Assistant Superintendent to Great Valley School District in Malvern, PA. We are a suburban school district outside of Philadelphia with approximately 4500 students, four elementary schools, soon to be a 5/6 Center school (construction underway), one middle school, and one high school.

We’ve been using Qualtrics since 2019 and ramped up usage during the pandemic. Over the last few years, we’ve expanded our use of Qualtrics beyond surveys to dynamic and personalized forms. Within surveys, we’ve leveraged StatsIQ and TextIQ, but still trying to design and take advantage of dashboards. We have a few dashboards, but still learning how to best design those.

We’ve integrated our SIS to automate to our directory so that we can create unique personal links for parents to complete forms for students. We’ve also established a ticket system for our Teaching and Learning Department to gather questions from staff and route to the appropriate staff member rather than emailing questions. For the upcoming year, we plan to add ticketing for parents to submit change of address forms.

A project, recently, that we designed that we are most proud of was a personalized staff announcement for their teaching assignment for the 2024-25 school year when we open our 5/6 Center and new 7/8 Middle School. All 400 instructional staff received a personalized form to log in to view their assignments and could then email the information. Without any issue, we were able to communicate the assignments and allow staff to learn of the decision by logging in and then deciding if they wanted the information emailed to them.

Hi There! I work in research, assessment, and accountability for a large public school district. My district and I are very new to Qualtrics, but are very excited about the use cases we have implemented so far.

We are hoping to expand our focus on experience management and case management, and find ways to connect experience management and observation data (informal data not used for appraisal is collected through Qualtrics) with student outcomes using Qualtrics. Anyone doing this or wanting to discuss please reach out!
