Howdy, I am trying to make sure a participant watches a video embedded in my survey. I have set it up so that the advance button only appears after X+3 seconds where X is the duration of the video, but I realized that there is nothing preventing a user from visiting another tab, or if on mobile, opening another app and entirely disregarding the video--i.e. if they arrive at the question with the video, open up instagram for at least X+3 seconds, and then return to the survey, they can advance… is there any way to make sure the qualtrics timers only “advance” if the tab or survey window is active?
