We do surveys to our staff after every All Hands call, and we have hit the 1 year mark of that survey. It get’s tweaked each week based on the contents of that meeting, but I’ve watched the response rate absolutely tank this year. 

 

I have a creative idea to create a question bank of fun and highly engaging questions on topics like pizza toppings, Star Wars, The Office, etc. The results of that question would be reported out via corporate communication channels for further engagement. 

 

Has anyone done this or something like it? If so, I would love to hear how it went. Also open to other tactics. 

 

The idea is to start out the survey with entertainment and joy as a logic bargaining tool for the user to go ahead and finish the rest while they have it open.
