Incorporating a login page for participants and the subsequent follow-up survey links | XM Community

We are currently exploring methods to streamline the follow-up process for participants in a large cohort study. The ongoing baseline survey data collection involves the use of anonymous links shared on social media to recruit participants and build our study panel. Our intention is to follow up with participants every 6 months over a 5-year period.

Initially, our plan was to send individual follow-up survey links directly to participants' inboxes. However, we are considering the feasibility of implementing a system where participants, recruited during the baseline, would have a personalized login page. This login would utilize the email address they provided during recruitment and a unique Qualtrics-generated password assigned to each participant. We will share that information with them on their first follow up.

Once logged in, participants would have access to their initial follow-up survey and a concealed link to the second follow-up survey. The second survey link would only activate once they have completed the first follow-up and after a 6-month interval. Attached screenshots.

I didn't receive a response since posting this, but in the meantime, I figured out that this can be achieved, though not with the same UI, by using the ‘table of contents’ feature in Qualtrics. This feature needs to be enabled, as it is turned off by default for standard users.
