Need to move questions to scoring category

I have tirelessly combed through multiple posts here and I cannot find the answer that I am looking for, so I am hoping that there is someone out there that help.Within the scoring module, I see where I can set up scoring groups and categories - but how do I move questions into their respective scoring categories???  No matter what I have tried, all of my blocks remain in the same category.At the beginning of my survey I have three questions (its own block) that I want to “hide” at the post-survey scoring results.  While I understand that I can assign these no scoring value so they are not calculated, I don’t want them to appear at all.  Thanks in advance!

Hey there. I wanted to respond to this because it drives me crazy every time I try to find it (I forget the detailsyear to year).On the main scoring page - the one that has Scoring Options in blue in the right upper corner - the top left side of the page will always default to “Score”. But it’s a dropdown menu. If you click on it, you should get a dropdown showing each of the scoring categories that you defined on the scoring option page.Choose one of your scoring categories. We’re going to use policy as our example. Scroll through the survey assigning points to every policy question on it. MAKE SURE THAT YOU HIT PUBLISH TO SAVE YOUR WORK. Then use the dropdown to choose your next category, and only assign points to the questions referring to that category. HIT PUBLISH TO SAVE. Repeat as needed.This is one of those things within Qualtrics that I can never remember how to do for some reason, and they don’t make it easy to find. So to recap: 1. create your scoring categories using the scoring options in the top right corner. 2. go category by category in the dropdown menu on the top left (always defaults to say score, but your categories are under it) assigning points to the questions corresponding with that category. You can choose how many points to assign to each question, though it will default to 1 or 2 - I can’t remember). 3. Hit publish between each category.That should be it! Good luck to you.

Thank you, Jemmabean! Now if we could only have the option to show two scoring categories on the final screen for the user! It would be nice to show that you scored xx in this category and xx in this category, for a total score of xx. And also have the ability for the emailed results to show which questions the user answered incorrectly…there are definitely opportunities for enhancement in the area of scoring.
