Personal links not working | XM Community

Hello everyone,

I am using the personal links for distributing an end of program survey to my graduating students. Immediately following launch, I had four students reach out and tell me that they received the message “You have either already completed the survey or your session has expired.”

I instructed the students to clear their cache and cookies and that did not work for them. I ended up sending them one off links I generated individually. Those links worked without an issue.

The students use a shibboleth SSO to get access to the survey. The students receiving the message said they are not being asked to complete the shibboleth. I double checked and the shibboleth is in the correct place and active. 

I have set the links to expire after 90 days. I also set the ability to return to complete the survey to 1 year.

Previously, I tested the personal links function before and they all worked. I have sent them through email and through mail merge with outlook and both have worked. This is the first time this is happening at a large scale.

 

Has anyone ever had this happen? Does anyone have any solutions?

This could happen if the link was already hit. Try enabling this before launch next time.
