How to import survey responses directly into existing contact in the Directories

I have uploaded our members' basic contacts into my Directories such as name, email etc. Then, to enrich the details, I ran a demographic survey to get them update their profile. I set up "Actions" before sending out the survey to them, so all their data was also copied to the Directory contacts.
But some previous surveys were published without setting up the "Actions". Is there a way to import those survey responses directly into the existing contacts? So that I can view a completed profile at the Directories instead of reading different surveys.

Hi Tiffpeirsim ,
In order to attached responses from previous surveys to your existing contacts, you can do one of two things.

  1. Download your directory to a csv file, download the survey responses to a csv file, and merge the records by email address. Upload this file back to your Directory or to your email list.

  2. Or you can make the survey data into an email list, and upload that alone to your Directory.

In either case you'll need to first make sure you have "Consolidate new contacts" options selected. (At least Email; First and Last name too if applicable to your data.)
