I have a matrix table with single answer and mobile friendly option turned on. However, when testing the instrument I don't get the accordion screen for the mobile simulation--I still get the matrix. I've read the documentation (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/mobile-survey-optimization/) and watched some youtube videos and I can't figure out what I am doing different/wrong. Any help greatly appreciated.

It doesn't go to accordion unless the width of matrix exceeds the width device screen. A way to force it is to make the label column wider by dragging the divider line to the right of the label column to the right.

Is this still true @TomG ?

I have been using this for ages -- zooming my browser screen out to 33%, then dragging the column delimiter all the way to the right of the screen and then zooming back to normal, and it has always worked.

However today when I did it, it is still showing as matrix in the Preview for PC. (Mobile is showing accordion as expected).

Mobile friendly is automatically toggled on.

@JenniferMacklin - Are you using ‘New Experience’?

Yes Tom I was (by default without realising it). I’ve turned it off and now the stretching workaround is working fine for accordion on PC. That is ok for the current survey which needed to go out now.

However my IT team wants me to use the New Survey Experience going forward. Do you know of any javascript (or other solution) that will force matrix into accordion on PC within the New Survey Experience?
