1024 Embedded Character Limit

Hi - When I attempt to upload a file to embed data into a survey, I am shown the following error message:

Edit fields in your file to be under these character limits:

Language: 20
First name: 100
Last name: 100
Email address: 254
Phone number: 20
External reference: 100
Embedded key: 200
Embedded field: 1,024

Upon reaching out to support (as suggested on this page), I was told by the agent “The Engineering team said is not possible to increase the limit” and “this is a hard limit in our platform.” However, on a similar question post here within the past month, this was able to be easily resolved by a qualtrics admin.

Can a Qualtrics Admin please help me? Or perhaps explain why some qualtrics users have a “hard limit” on embedded data while others do not?
