Happy Friday, Community! This week we’ve got a recap of the World Cup Badge of the Month contributions so far, critical questions about partial responses, and in-product help that need your input.

Congrats to our latest members hitting milestones!

  • @Michel747 reached Level 1! @cand829 reached Level 2! @lizb311 reached Level 4!

Force Video Watching with Custom Controls: @Tom_1842 built a QSF that prevents respondents from skipping ahead on MP4s and YouTube videos—perfect for training or compliance surveys.

Randomize 50+ Choices Without JavaScript: @hokie404 shared a Qualtrics workaround using carry forward logic and randomizer caps. Split your massive choice lists across pages with zero code, each respondent gets a unique, randomized subset with no repeats.

Find Deprecated Widgets in 30 Seconds: @vgayraud shared a JavaScript bookmarklet that visually highlights all deprecated widgets in your dashboards. Load your dashboard, run the script, and instantly see what needs updating.

Reset Question Export Tags Instantly: @songforisabelle (first BOM!) shared a cool feature: use Actions > Reset Question Export Tags to fix typos or renaming without starting from scratch.

Batch Edit Responses at Scale with R + API: @lizb311 shared a complete R script for editing embedded data fields across hundreds of responses. Helpful for data cleansing and QC workflows.

Anonymized Responses: The Gotcha: @Chee Heng_SZ flagged a critical issue: enabling anonymized responses in survey options isn't enough. You must also enable it in EACH "End of Survey" element and Quota or respondents' data will still be recorded.

Salesforce + Qualtrics Integration Blueprint: @Sachin Nandikol shared a detailed architecture diagram showing survey triggers, contact sync, ticket creation, and dashboard reporting.

Experience Score: The Missing Metric: @joel bautista  shared tips from a Qualtrics webinar that connects sentiment analysis to CSAT/NPS, showing how to evaluate the full customer journey rather than relying on single satisfaction scores.

Hide Questions & Preselect Answers: Need to hide a question but still have an answer preselected based on previous data? Check this post out.

Combining Matrix Question Data: Best way to merge data from two matrix questions using carry forward? Check out the suggestion by @Chee Heng_SZ.

Internal Design Systems for Intercepts: Learn how to apply your company's design system to intercept experiences. Join this conversation started by @Silnogueira.

Email Notifications Based on Directory Data: Can you trigger email notifications to specific people based on XM Directory attributes? Discover what the community is sharing.

Empty Partial Responses Counting as Billable: Are blank "in-progress" responses being counted toward your response quota?
