Is there a way to monitor email address bounces in email tasks in Workflows? We have quite a few Email tasks but have to manually check the email addresses used in the email task every now and again to ensure the email addresses are still valid (i.e people leaving the organization)

If it's just an email task and not a survey distribution per say.
There isn't a way to track the bounces, but you can use Workflow Notifications to get all the failed workflows details over email. The emails which get bounced will have failed workflows but it can also be for other reasons, hence a little scrutiny will still be needed.

@Deepak, thank you for your reply. Apparently if a Email workflow task has multiple email addresses and one is not correct, the task does not show failure so you would never know that some emails are bouncing. So this would definitely be an issue!


Yes unfortunately that's system limitation. As we do not have a delivery report feature like a traditional mailer.
You can create separate email tasks if the number of email addresses are few.
