I was wondering if it is possible to link a list from directory to build a dashboard. I know we can Add Source and link surveys. But can we link a contact list from directory also?

Yes, you can do it but it requires an additional task in workflow which needs to be enabled by Qualtrics Support team/by requesting Account Executive for your brand.
The task is Mailing List Synchronizer. It was created for some specific solutions but yes, it does the job!
