Error: Unable to connect to SFTP server for automations

I’ve been through all of the possible resolutions and I’m still not able to fix this problem. My directory automations were working fine until we changed Tech Directors in May and our SFTP host wiped all of his data. Our tech team was able to get in and add our files. We updated the password in Qualtrics automations, but nothing has fixed the error. I don’t understand the message saying “unable to connect” when all of our other automations are working fine now using the same host.

Has anyone had similar issues that can help? Any other tips?

Just to check, have your team changed the port as well? Default it takes port 22. Please check with them if port information gets change. Also, do not use https with host name.

 

One more question, how you change password in extension, have created new account in Qualtrics for sftp extractor or you edit the password only?

Yes, everything is correct and we’ve gone through the steps multiple times. We edited the password, did not create new account.

Create new account instead and configure it in your extractor. If it will not work then raise the query to Qualtrics support team. They will check the error and provide you resolution.
