Modifying Radio Button Selections based on Status of a Check-Box

I have a survey question with three columns: first column is a check-box; second column has two radio buttons; third column is a text box.
I use validation criteria to be sure a maximum of three boxes in the first column are checked, and that on of the radio buttons in the second column is selected if the corresponding check box in the first column is selected.
Is it possible to "deselect" a radio button if a check box is deselected after being selected? And to deselect radio buttons if the corresponding check box is not selected prior to exiting the question?
