Alan Traverse - Manager, Research & Business Intelligence Consultant @ Thryv Inc.
Brief Intro of yourself and the programs you run, and why you love to do this!
I’ve been the research lead at Thryv since 2010 and began using Qualtrics in 2012. In 2018, we grew the program and integrated with Salesforce for transactional surveys. We grew our program again in 2024, adding EX, and in 2026, adding OXM.I’ve been the research lead at Thryv since 2010 and began using Qualtrics in 2012. My initial use was limited, but we saw the potential. In 2018, we significantly grew the program by integrating Qualtrics with our Salesforce instance to deploy surveys, helping us capture feedback immediately following key customer interactions. We further expanded our use of the platform in 2024 with the introduction of an Employee Experience (EX) program to better understand our workforce. For 2026, we will be adding OXM!
Can you briefly describe your role and the program you manage/use with Early Access?
As the Qualtrics manager for Thryv, I actively support our users, ensuring they get the most out of the platform. I eagerly await and monitor the emails from the Early Access team, consistently signing up for all eligible Early Access features as soon as they are announced. However, I sometimes feel let down when there are no new features available for me to test and provide feedback on, which is a key part of my role in advocating for Thryv's users.
What are some key achievements or milestones from your program using Early Access that you’re especially proud of?
We quickly adopted two key enhancements: Conversational Feedback for open-ended responses and AI-enabled dashboards. Conversational Feedback immediately improved the quality of our open-end responses. Following a successful trial with a few surveys, we began adding the AI search tool to as many dashboards as possible. Now, most of our dashboards feature a dedicated "AI Assist" page for high visibility and easy access to information.
How has Early Access integrated into your daily workflows or processes?
I would not say it this way. I use it as much as I can and look for new opportunities to try new features whenever possible. I might use a feature frequently in the beginning, but then it falls into the normal process.
What advice or tips would you give to other partners or customers starting to use Early Access?
Use as many Early Access features as suit your program. Joining early helps you learn quickly and brings valuable insights back to your team.
Alan is a highly valuable member of our Early Access Program, and on behalf of the Qualtrics Team, we are truly grateful for your participation! 💫
